Aramco has been named Official Energy Sponsor for the inaugural FIFA Women's Champions Cup, which takes place between Arsenal and Corinthians at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday February 1.
FIFA have announced that Aramco is the Official Energy Sponsor of the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup ahead of the tournament’s final in London on February 1. The sponsorship expands an existing commercial relationship between FIFA and Aramco and will sit alongside FIFA’s wider women’s football development work, including activity linked to participation pathways and the visibility and sustainability of the women’s game. Sara Booth, FIFA’s Elite Women’s Football Director, said: “This is an incredibly exciting moment for women’s football. A major new tournament creates fresh opportunities for players to compete on a global stage and for fans to experience the very best of the women’s game. “The partnership with Aramco is a powerful signal of our belief in the future of women’s football, allowing FIFA to elevate the Women’s Champions Cup even further, accelerate its growth and continue the remarkable development in the women’s game that we have witnessed in recent years. Together we are building momentum that will inspire players and audiences around the world.” Rania Biltagi, Aramco’s head of sponsorships and partnerships, linked the deal to the company’s broader work in the women’s game, describing the tournament as a global platform for female players and a route to inspire participation and ambition beyond football. The final will be played at Arsenal Stadium, with Arsenal Women facing SC Corinthians with the third-place play-off between FAR Rabat and Gotham FC earlier on the same day.
