The 2025 Champions League winners Arsenal generated the most revenue of any women's football club last year, according to analysis by Deloitte.
Arsenal have moved to the top of women’s football’s revenue table after Deloitte reported that the 15 highest-earning women’s clubs generated a combined €158m in the financial year ending in 2025, the first time the total has surpassed €150m. Deloitte said the figure represents a 35% year-on-year increase and means average revenue across the top 15 has risen above €10m for the first time, underlining the pace at which the women’s club game is commercialising in its leading markets. In Deloitte’s latest ranking, Arsenal recorded revenues of €25.6m, an increase of 43% on the previous year, with strong matchday performance a key driver after staging multiple fixtures at Emirates Stadium.Chelsea were second on €25.4m after posting the largest year-on-year rise – up 90% – which Deloitte-linked reporting attributed primarily to commercial income, while Barcelona dropped to third on €22m. Deloitte noted that the leading trio account for 46% of the total revenues across the top 15 clubs, highlighting an acceleration at the top end of the market as the rest of the field works to catch up. Deloitte said the Women’s Super League continues to dominate the list, with the make-up of the top 15 remaining largely consistent with the previous edition.Jennifer Haskel, knowledge and insight lead in Deloitte’s Sports Business Group, said the revenue growth reflects “ongoing innovation and commercially focussed mindset” in leading markets, pointing to expanded brand partnerships and evolving ticketing strategies as clubs seek to better understand and monetise changing fan behaviours.
