Brazil-based YouTube channel Canal GOAT has secured a rights deal for CONMEBOL club competitions in 55 international territories, according to sports media industry reports and the channel’s own social media announcement.The package is reported to include the Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and Recopa Sudamericana, with matches to be shown on Canal GOAT’s official YouTube channel with Portuguese-language coverage.The territories reportedly span markets across Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania, including the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium and Japan, giving the channel a wider distribution play for South American club football beyond its home market.Canal GOAT also indicated on social media that its coverage had already started with this season’s Recopa Sudamericana, describing the agreement as bringing CONMEBOL Libertadores, Sudamericana and Recopa coverage to viewers in 55 countries.No financial terms were disclosed in the reports.
