InPost has signed a grassroots partnership with The FA to install parcel lockers at accredited community clubs and County FAs, creating an additional income stream for clubs while accelerating InPost’s UK network rollout.

InPost has partnered with The Football Association in a scheme that will allow England Football Accredited grassroots clubs to host InPost Lockers at their facilities, as the parcel locker operator looks to expand its out-of-home delivery network across the UK.The programme offers clubs and County FAs the option to install lockers on-site with no upfront cost, with participating venues able to earn revenue from available space while attracting additional footfall beyond matchdays and training nights.Paul Selvey, network director at InPost UK, said: “Grassroots football clubs play an essential role in communities across the UK and many are looking for sustainable ways to generate additional income.”Selvey said the lockers can help clubs “turn unused space into a service people need every day”, adding that the additional visits could support wider clubhouse and hospitality takings. The FA is positioning the partnership as part of its wider push to strengthen the financial resilience of the grassroots game, where many clubs face rising operating costs and increased pressure to diversify revenues.James Kendall, The FA’s director of football development, said: “Beyond delivering exceptional football, grassroots clubs across the country also offer vital community cohesion, acting as vibrant and accessible hubs in their local areas.”Kendall added: “Our new partnership with InPost offers clubs the chance to access a new stream of income by installing a locker, boosting their resources whilst benefitting busy communities.”InPost said it will work with clubs to identify suitable locations and support local activation around each installation, while The FA will promote the scheme through its affiliated club and County FA network. For InPost, the deal provides access to a large, geographically distributed estate of community venues that already sit at the centre of local travel patterns, helping the company add locker capacity in residential catchments without relying solely on retail landlords. The partnership also reflects a broader shift in grassroots facilities strategy, with clubs increasingly encouraged to monetise their footprint year-round by hosting complementary services that strengthen their role as multi-use community hubs.
