Sportradar has extended its German Football Association partnership in a multi-year deal that grants the group exclusive DFB-Pokal betting data and streaming rights outside the DACH region from 2026-27, adding new inventory and “skeletal data” products to its global football offering.

Sportradar has agreed a multi-year extension of its data and audiovisual betting rights agreement with Deutscher Fussball-Bund (DFB), strengthening its distribution position around Germany’s flagship men’s cup competition, the DFB-Pokal.Under the renewed agreement, Sportradar will hold exclusive betting data and betting streaming rights for the DFB-Pokal worldwide outside the DACH region, alongside non-exclusive global media data rights, according to the company. The new rights term begins at the start of the 2026-27 season and covers all 63 matches per season, with Sportradar describing the deal as the first direct agreement between the parties specifically relating to the DFB’s premium cup competition.Moritz Gloeckler, Sportradar’s executive vice-president of rights and strategic projects, said: “Our extension of the agreement with DFB is a key addition to our already strong portfolio of global soccer rights. With more than five billion soccer fans worldwide, there’s massive appetite for content.”Gloeckler added: “Through partnerships with FIFA, UEFA, AFC, Bundesliga, CONMEBOL and more, Sportradar is well positioned to create the next generation of tech driven products and services for clients to use to engage fans, reach new audiences and open fresh revenue opportunities.”Kay Dammholz, director of media rights at DFB GmbH & Co. KG, said: “With this agreement, we are further advancing the international media rights distribution of the DFB-Pokal.”  Dammholz added: “Together with Sportradar, we are ensuring a professional and safe global distribution of our betting streaming rights outside the DACH region, while upholding the highest standards of integrity and unlocking additional commercial potential for our premium cup competition.”Sportradar said the rights were originally secured as part of its acquisition of IMG ARENA in 2025, and the renewed package will now introduce “skeletal data” for the competition for the first time, positioning it as an input for fan engagement and betting-facing products. The agreement underlines the continuing value of premium football inventory for suppliers serving sportsbooks and media platforms, particularly as operators push further into in-play markets, streaming-based engagement and more personalised product experiences.Sportradar said it works with more than 100 football organisations globally and distributes what it describes as the industry’s largest football content portfolio to a network of around 800 sportsbook operators and 1,500 media clients, using football rights to feed both betting distribution and media-facing data products.
