U.S. Soccer sets out coast-to-coast fan plan for 100-day World Cup countdown

U.S. Soccer has launched its official 100-day countdown to the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup with a national programme of free fan events, community ‘Soccer Forward Fests’ and commercial activations led by a new Los Angeles hub and a live roster reveal in New York City.
U.S. Soccer has announced a slate of nationwide fan celebrations and community programmes as it moves into the final 100 days before the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup begins on June 11.The federation’s schedule is anchored by ‘U.S. Soccer House presented by Bank of America’ in Los Angeles, a free U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) roster reveal party in New York City, and a rolling series of ‘Soccer Forward Fests’ designed to reach supporters beyond host cities.JT Batson, U.S. Soccer’s chief executive, said: “At 100 days out, we are focused on making sure the U.S. Men's National Team is in the best position for success this summer, while also ensuring that every soccer fan, in every community, feels part of our World Cup journey. And we know the impact won’t end when the final whistle blows.“This FIFA Men’s World Cup is an opportunity to create lasting momentum by inspiring new fans, expanding access and participation to the game, and strengthening the foundation for the next generation.”U.S. Soccer House will open on June 11 in Venice Beach, California, and is being positioned as the federation’s primary fan hub during the tournament, with watch parties, appearances by former national team players, live podcast recordings and a stage programme for speakers and celebrity guests. U.S. Soccer said the ‘Bank of America Vault’ will provide premium viewing and hospitality within the venue. Access will be open to registered members of the U.S. Soccer Insiders programme, with advance registration details due to follow.On the grassroots side, Soccer Forward Fests will be “powered by the Soccer Forward Foundation” and developed with Common Goal, with organisations invited to register existing events or create new ones using a toolkit supplied by the federation. U.S. Soccer said the initiative is intended to expand access, inspire young players and “strengthen communities through soccer”.The countdown plan also includes a ticket draw opening on March 9 for eligible Insiders (Premium tier and above), the unveiling of new USMNT match kits in March, and pre-match fan activations around send-off fixtures in Atlanta, Charlotte and Chicago. U.S. Soccer said the USMNT roster will be announced on May 26 at the New York City reveal event, which will be streamed nationally.Commercially, the federation is tying the countdown to retail and content initiatives, including official merchandise distribution at more than 30,000 locations via partners such as Walmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Kohl’s, limited-edition apparel collaborations across all 11 U.S. host cities, and a multi-part documentary series on the USMNT’s build-up that is set to premiere on HBO Max.
